Leevandia-entertainment exists in the Russian market since 2007. We are young but perspective team of professionals, having produced a number of successful projects that became participants and the winners of Russian and international film festivals. Among them is short feature film Field, Clowns, Apple… directed by Shota Gamisonia, that took part in Russian and foreign festivals such as Bolzano Short Film Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival, Trieste Film Festival, and Mutuality directed by Michail Levitin, that participated in “Kinotavr” Russian Film Festival 2009.
Our major activity is feature and short film production, making of documentaries, presentation and corporate films. And what is more important we do not put irresistible margin between commercial and art films. On the contrary we strive to make art films be commercially successful. Our main goal is to help this kind of movies get realization in the film market.
At the moment there are more than 200 film producing companies in Russia among which we want to occupy our own special place. So our main aim in Russian film industry we see in showing a new Western European level of film production creating competitive movies not only for Russian but for international market as well. We also develop the coproduction activity and for two years of work we have already established business contacts with foreign partners from Latvia, Germany, RSA and Morocco. The sky is the limit so we always welcome new contacts for new collaboration.
