Our feature film project Lifechair V8.0 takes part in 31th Moscow International Film Festival Coproduction Forum that is held from June 19 till June 28, 2009. You may find all the information about the project in the Festival catalogue.

The filmscript is based on the several parabels from the new book of the most unconventional contemporary writer Milorad Pavich called «The Paper Theater».  These stories are writen by quasi fictional authors from different countries and  all together they form a big story out of eight short film novels. Each novel takes place in a new place, with new characters, in a new country. Each novel is shot by the new director in his own signature style.

«Leevandia-entertainment» has started work under the new project of the short feature film Sea of desires, directed by Shota Gamisonia. The shooting period is scheduled for August 2009.

The preceding short film by Shota Gamisonia Field, Clowns, Apple… won the prize of Moscow Guild of film critics at Moscow Short Film Festival 2009 and participated in the international festivals such as Bolzano Short Film Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival, Trieste Film Festival etc.

The cycle of short films created for «Kvartet-I» theatre is successfully screened in the theatrical production  “Middle-aged Men Talks” directed by Dmitry Djachenko. The nearest performances are on June 23, 24 and on July 1, 2009.

The short film Mutuality (Vzaimnost') directed by Michail Levitin and produced by Leevandia-entertainment company was selected by the 20th Russian Film Festival “Kinotavr” jury for competition program “Kinotavr. Shorts”. There are 16 participants of the competition in total.

Together with “Lean Production” company (Republic of South Africa) we have initiated the co-project “Russia and RSA: what do we have in common?” It is the cycle of documentaries about historical background and bonds between Russia and Republic of South Africa

Russia and RSA are two powerful countries that own innumerable natural resources, oil, gold, minerals, human resources and etc. Couldn’t their interests have ever been crossed? Or maybe there are certain reasons to hide our historical bonds? That’s what you will find out from the documentaries, created mutually with RSA partners that will make you see many historical events in a different light.
